Leap Year	Happens every 4 years (mostly). February has 29 days, making the year 366 days long. This aligns our calendar with the Earth's orbit.
Common Year	February has only 28 days, and the year is 365 days long.
Weeks in a Year	A common year has 52 weeks and 1 day. A leap year has 52 weeks and 2 days.

Does the result include the start date?

Our "Days Between Dates" calculation measures the duration between time points, typically excluding the start date itself. For example, Jan 1 to Jan 2 is 1 day.

Does this account for leap years?

Yes. Our algorithm is based on the standard Gregorian calendar and automatically handles February 29th, ensuring accuracy across years.

Can I calculate past dates?

Absolutely. Both historical and future dates are supported. In "Add/Subtract Days" mode, just enter a negative number to go back in time.

What is the maximum date range?

Based on browser standards, it typically supports dates from year 1 to year 275,760 AD. This is more than enough for any practical use.

Why is the result different from what I expected?

Check if your range includes a leap year (Feb 29), or if you were expecting the start date to be included in the total count (if so, add +1).

How to calculate how many days someone has lived?

In "Days Between Dates" mode, set the "Start Date" to their birthday and the "End Date" to today. This will give you the exact number of days alive.
